Navratri Pooja: The Divine Goddess

The onset of autumn after the monsoons adds a different level of freshness to the surrounding lap of saiyadris.. During this time, the rhythmic beats of Dhaak, the fragrance of Dhuna, camphor, sandalwood paste, and mantra, envelop the entire ashram area in the worship of the devi form of GURU.. The discourses from GURU elevate the followers to give a touch of the divine experience of Shakti.. The meditation in HER DIVINE PRESENCE blooms the inner purity of every sadhaks... On the last day of navratri i.e. dashami or dashera, the Kalash ceremony (sacred pot) that was placed and consecrated on the day of sashthi (6th day of navratri) at mandir bhawan, completes. During this time the villagers are blessed with prasadam and new clothes from the ashram with the graces of SHRI GURU...After few days, the devi shakti in the form Shri lakshmi is reverenced... As GURU says, the state of lakshmi is related to santushthi (satisfaction). When the mind of a diciple is in this state of santusthi, then the divine enegry starts consecrating inside.. This occasion is celebrated by sitting for meditation as guided by SHRI GURU and her DIVINE TALK..

NOVEMBER 2024

The festival of lights (Deepavali) during this month is celebrated with ama usha havan on the no moon day (Amavasya).
Sadhaks, sits for Yagna on YAGNA Bhumi before dawn (ama) till the day break (usha). Devi, in the form of SHREE MAHA KALI, is revered through this ritual and we all bow to MAA MAHA KALI.

Sadhaks experience profound meditation and various spiritual visions and emotions during this process.
Sadhaks offered 108 deeyas, 108 bilva patras, 108 hibiscus flowers, alpana, naivedyam, and pranaam at yagna bhoomi. An indepth meaning of performing this havan is to awaken a mind induldged in darkness of ignorance..To vanquish the inner demon and invoke the mighty presence of MAA KAALI .

On the same day evening SHRI GURU gives discourse showing lights on our inner strength and the process to walk the path to develop ourselves as every time.

Following the sacred celebration of AMA USHA, SHREEJAASHRAM embraces another profound tradition—widely recognized as BHAI DOOJ—however referred to by SHRI GURU as ATMA DWEEJ, symbolizing a deeper spiritual awakening. As SHRI GURU explains, just as a bird experiences two births in its lifetime—once when the egg hatched and again when the chick comes out cracking the egg shell.

A disciple too undergoes a dual transformation: first upon physical birth, and again when the soul (ATMA) is awakened through the GURU's sacred initiation.

This second birth, DWEEJ, marks the spiritual rebirth and inner awakening.Under the guiding presence of SHREE GURU, disciples apply sandalwood paste on each other’s foreheads and bow with respect and love to each disciple, with the thoughtfulness, that
'We all are from THAT ONE'.
Thus is the celebration of ATMA DWEEJ.

On the RAAS PURNIMA day, sadhaks worship SHRI GURU in the form of SHRI KRISHNA... The Havan ritual is conducted at the Kochin Ashram under the guidance of SHRI GURU .
SHRI GURU's discourse following the Havan has deeply immersed the minds of the sadhaks into the ocean of RAAS..
DECEMBER 2024

Thanks to the blessings of SHRI GURU. Few sessions of Bhagavat Paath were arranged this year, taking place a week before the Uttaran Utsav celebration.

It was a 5 day session of 2 hours each day in the morning which was conducted by one of the sadhaks who recited some chosen stanzas from bhagavat in sanskrit, which was then translated in Malayalam, hindi and marathi for other sadhaks and local villagers attending the session.. enriched with the flow of profound divinity in the presence of SHRI GURU.

Sadhaks experienced the essence of devotion ,dedication, wisdom, renunciation and divine love... The evening sessions with SHRI GURU were mostly interactive ones in which sadhaks would ask questions from the bhagavat sessions and share their understanding and experiences, which were answered and clarified by SHRI GURU individually.
The Uttarann Utsav is observed as the foundation day of Uttarann. SHRI GURU graces this celebration with HER DIVINE discourses and interactive sessions.. The Notun Bhawan Hall was adorned with a Christmas tree on one side, accompanied by vibrant floral designs, alpana, and deeya in front of the GURU ASAN and throughout the ashram. All of these decorations were offered to SHRI GURU.

Blankets , sweaters, and prasadam are offered to the under-developed local villagers and school students. A Bhavasan session was conducted for the school children to refreshen their minds and bodies. Both children and teachers participated joyfully and coordinated throughout the session, demonstrating their enthusiasm.
